SAMUEL TEH
 1969, at the age of 16, while Samuel Teh was pondering on his destiny in the late evening, heard a voice to go seek counsel of a teacher. Next day, he was lead to the Lord. He then attended the Full Gospel AOG in Alor Setar and was actively involved in the church ministries. Samuel is an optometrist by profession, having obtained his qualification in the United Kingdom in the 70s. He came back 1981, gone thru'7 years of trial& testing , learning the lesson of dependence of God and humility.
1988, one evening God spoke to him at the foot of Penang Hill while pouring his heart and crying out to God, that he is like the man in John 5:5-8. From then on his life was healed, transformed. He began a new journey with God. 1989, God preserved his workplace from the outbreak of fire at Hanjo Departmental store while the surrounding area was burnt to ground. Isa 43:1-2. In the mist of fire Samuel heard a voice asking him to "take up your bed and walk" out from this place. John 5:8
1991, he was given a free ticket to US and end up in John Wimble's Vineyard Christian Fellowship. He received a message that challenged him to serve in the church. 1993, God gave Samual a vision of gathering of Churches in Penang to worship and pray - High Praise. Isa.42:10-13, Isa.30:30-32
2003, Samuel and two others were inducted into Eldership of the church. He headed the Ministry arm of the church.
2007, while praying in a grotto in Korea Prayer Mountain of Yoido Church, He was given 5 pictures of Peter's life encounter, signifying his ministry.
2010, April 3rd. samuel is commissioned as VCC Pastor.
SAMUEL IS GIFTED IN ORGANIZING EVENTS LISTED AS FOLLOW:
1994 Feb: Chinese New Year "Chap God Meh" 1st High Praise event @Farlim COmmunity Hall attended by mostly NECF churches. The place was packed with people.
1994 Aug: High Praise during the National day at Sin Kang School Hall in Farlim joined by CCm churches. The whole place was jammed with people and cars.
1995: Penang High Praise became an annual event recognized by the state NECF, CCm, RC churches and was held in Komtar Dome. In the same year God spoke to Samuel in vision to bring the churches out into the streets - way from the 4 walls of the church buildings. (Penang Parade)
2000& 2002: Penang Parade - Chuches in Penang gathered in a 5km march in and around Georgetown starting from Esplanade - singing, raising banners and dancing in Praise and Worship. 7000-strong from all walks of life marched down the streets of Penang fulfilling the given vision.
2005: God impressed on Samuel to bring the churches out to meet the people( Penang Open House) and eventually the churches will visit the people in their home.
2006: Churches in Penang began to work together for an Open House at Fort Cornwallis, Esplanade. The Christmas Open House which saw a turnout of more than 10,000 people was the fulfillment of given vision for the churches in Penang.
2007: In conjunction with the 50th year of independence, the churches have once again come united to celebrate the Year of Jubilee. Christians from different nations: Indonesia, Taiwan, Philippine, as well as indigenous tribes in Malaysia, coming together to celebrate Christmas at Fort Cornwallis.
2010: March 1st. FGB brothers, pastor of various Churches and Samuel together with the sponsor of MCA and The Star came to organized New Year Celebration (Evangelistic Meeting) in PISA. The 300 banquet tables were all filled up. Gospel seeds were sown in that evening.
SAMUEL IS MARRIED TO SIS JOO SUAN, AND TOGETHER THEY HAVE 5 CHILDREN:
